Details:
Venus and Mercury were first seen setting in the Western horizon last week and are now much easier to see. These two images were taken with SA7s3 and 200mm lens when Venus was at 3d and 1d altitude and Mercury at 5d and 3d. The SkyXPro chart shows the area of sky in SGR with the Sun below the western horizon. The five bright naked eye visible planets, Venus, Mercury, Saturn, Jupiter and Mars are now in the evening sky for the rest of December, 2022.
