Details:
The moon turned a beautiful red as the earth's shadow moved across it's surface. I photographed the sequence from 4:00-5:50 am. At 5:50 am the moon set behind an apartment building. The three selected photos were taken at totality (5:44 am), ending of partial eclipse (5:12 am), and the beginning of partial eclipse (4:14 am). Details: Canon 90D digital camera, with a Canon telephoto lens - EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II, exposures - 0'8s (total eclipse), 0"4s (ending partial eclipse), 1/800s (beginning partial eclipse),f5.6 (all), 400 ASA (all).
