The sun is setting behind Tai Mo Shan, the highest peak in Hong Kong on Oct 11. the silhouette
of the Primary Surveillance radar station is clear against the solar disk with sunspots AR13112,AR13116 and AR13119, of which Sunspot AR3112 has exploded two M-class solar flares towards the earth yesterday.
The PSR is a part of the Air traffic controls system, which helps Hong Kong international airport to monitor airplanes in the airspace, providing range and bearing information of the plane.
