Details:
With decent data coming in for aurora, I headed out to capture the Milky Way arch with some aurora thrown in. With my first click, I knew something was up, everything was RED! I quickly set up to do a pano, and happily captured this gigantic SAR arc that went from east to west in the sky. I shot this pano with my 20mm in portrait mode, and barely got all the arc in my frame. The arc hung around for some time, but quickly faded from the bright red I caught in my 1st eleven shots. Shot with a Canon 6d, Sigma Art 20mm, f1.8, 8 seconds, 4000 iso. 11 frames stitched in LR.
