Streaming video, Iceland edition. Here's a nice view of my house in Hraunborgir, southern Iceland. Starting just after 10 pm, ropes and whorls and curtains of bright gaudy colors danced across the heavens for more than an hour. Although we had only a Kp3 forecast, the actual show was considerably more impressive. Sure, Jupiter has been getting a little cozy of late and yes, NASA just put on an engineering tour de force. But in Iceland, Lady Aurora rules the sky - and she gave us an awesome reminder tonight!
