Details:
PST 40 h- alpha scope, 8mm eyepiece 50X 10:30 UT- 12:10 UT August 30th 2022. Proms on the limb above the large active region as viewed in my PST. Pastels and pastel pencil on black paper. Please ignor the bright patch on the solar disc. I had to work quickly as there was some clouds coming over the mountain. So I recycled an old drawing to avail of its already done h-alpha looking surface. That one long impressive prom looked like a tall skinny wizard with a trailing cloak. To it's right another looked like a chunky man juggling balls of plasma. The one right of it looked like a portal dolman before I got started with my drawing. Then it morphed into a fat arch with another loop on top. Killadoon Co Mayo Ireland
