Details:
Hi I have created three animations from Gerald Rhemann's images (August 13,14,15,16,17 and 19, all with 12"/3.6 Farm Tivoli). With these animations we want to show the behavior of the fragments of Comet 73P. Most are only visible for days to a few weeks. 1. 73P main image - you can see the faint fragment RE001 disappearing just above right and you can see the fragment JRD01 drifting away from the main component 2. JRD01 is slowly weakening 3. RJ001 - after the outburst from August 13 to 14, the comet becomes clearly weaker from Aug. 17 to 19 My special thanks go to Gerald Rhemann, who made this documentation possible.
