Details:
In the evening of August 7 I was really surprised to suddenly see a bight band of aurora high up in the sky, all the way from east to west. I had thought it was still too bright at this latitude, with the sun not getting lower than about 9 degrees below the horizon but the G2 storm came in very well timed. :) When I started to shoot a timelapse of the aurora, a moderate nlc display started at the northwestern horizon and spread out over the course of the still very short night. You can see a timelapse movie of (almost) the whole night here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOIWIxDmxZM
