Details:
Surpising Aurora-show at 54.38 N. I woke up this night and took a look to "space weather" -website and our "Polarlichtvorhersage"-website in Germany. There was some akivity and I realised that I had already missed the first substorm. I decided to go out, hoping for a second substorm. I had just reached the Balic Sea (it's only a 5min drive) when I could see that there was a substorm underway (around 0:00 UTC). The Aurora was visible by naked eyes an there was also a reflection on the sea. An extra bonus was the Perseid around 0:15h UTC, as the substorm already had declined. A great night at the Baltic sea !
