Details:
Nearly seven months on from the eruption of the Hunga Tonga volcano, southern hemisphere observers are still being treated to spectacularly coloured sunrises and sunsets, courtesy of lingering stratospheric volcanic aerosols. Hello to my fellow observers Noeleen Lowndes and Peter Lowenstein, and thank you for continuing to post your excellent photos of this ongoing phenomenon :-) These photos were taken with my iPhone 8 as I was in a hurry ;-) The western sky was still fiercely aglow with red well into astronomical twilight!
