Details:
Yesterday evening it happened again, a clear sky and first reports about NLC in Scandinavia. So I packed my things and drove to my selected beach. Already on the way the noctilucent clouds were incredibly bright and well visible. The closer I got to the beach, the less it became. A cloud bank pushed itself exactly to the wrong place. So I tried to sleep a little in the back seat and it paid off. Two hours before sunrise the clouds were gone and the show started. I have photographed NLCs many times but never seen such intense reds. They were perfectly reflected in front of the small fishing boats. I enjoyed the show until sunrise.
