Details:
Clouds have been a real issue here in Southeastern Pennsylvania especially during rare astronomical events. Skies started out clear with mediocre transparency, but shortly following astronomical twilight, dense haze and thick clouds began to roll in. I was just able to capture 18x2min lights. The comet did appear to sport a short tail with a bright nucleus. Both M10 and the comet were of a similar brightness making them both easy to view. I did not see the characteristic blue-green color that the coma often exhibits. Even with my stacked image, the comet appears colorless. This image was obtained using a Stellarvue 102ED refractor and a Canon XS DSLR ISO800.
