Details:
It was supposed to be another night with incredibly strong noctilucent clouds, at least that's what photographers in various communities reported. However, we had dense cloud cover. I set the alarm clock for 1:00 am and looked out the window. Only small gaps were to be seen. I decided to drive to my location and was amazed how fast the NLC extended to the zenith. I tried this time also to photograph some details with 500mm focal length. It was very impressive.
