It was another one of those nights when I thought it would have clear skies but then there would be no NLC to see. Then suddenly it became bright on the horizon. Within an hour a beautiful display built up and I drove to my desired location, a lonely tree in a field. When I set up my camera I saw that the noctilucent clouds were glowing in two different colors. In one plane in blue, below in a golden warm hue. It was really amazing to see this rare display.
