Details:
Back on June 19th to June 23, I recorded sunspot 3038 in h-alpha and blue wing h-alpha. Blue wing h-alpha shows Ellerman Bombs as tiny white spots in the image. On June 19th, sunspot 3038 was still forming and growing. The h-alpha image revealed a very active spot complex with emerging flux regions! Over the next several days, this sunspot group matured and became less active. Notice the initial 6/19 blue wing image was peppered with Ellerman Bombs....and each day thereafter, the EB activity decreased. That is typical of EB's.
