Details:
A rather interesting night pursuing the NLC's. I headed due North of Calgary Alberta with hopes to evade the cloud cover. I lucked out and through the breaks in the clouds. I spied NLC's that were due West, this is the first time that I have seen them so far West, an hour later they were due north and I managed to shoot them with a lightning strike in the background. The first image is due West the second is due North. The third image is the NLC's fading and I am wondering if the Hunga Tonga eruption last year affecting the NLC's this year as the structure has changed to more diffuse.
