Today (on June 06, 2022) is 10 years since the last transit of Venus in the 21st century. I was 15 years old and I lived in Livadiya, Primorsky Krai, Russia. I went to the Ussuriysk Astrophysical Observatory (it was very foggy in Livadiya), where were astronomers (amateurs and professionals) from all Primorsky Krai. I did not see the start of transit because it was cloudy, but at 11:08 local time (00:08 UTC) I photographed (through my telescope) the transit the first of all astronomers, during the hole in the clouds. Then the sky cleared and I saw the middle and end of the transit. I did not see the atmosphere of Venus, but I looked at the Sun in the Coronado P.S.T. telescope (not mine) for the first time in my life. I made this animation from photos taken by me through the eyepiece of my 114/1000 mm telescope (with solar filter from Baader AstroSolar film) and camera Canon IXUS 310 HS. On the solar disk not only Venus is visible (in the form of a black disk), but also sunspots. Here is a link to my video report.
