Details:
Today, the sun had a good prominence with lots of streaky detail. Also, there was a large filament that showed a kind of 3-D effect. Imagine the filament as a mostly vertical sheet of plasma we are looking down at edge-on. On the left part of the image, you can see the lower part of the filament sheet leaning in one direction, then becoming vertical, then leaning in the other direction.....like a sheet twisting and blowing in the wind! Kyoool! 127mm f/9.4 achromat, Daystar Quark Chromosphere filter, ZWO ASI174mm camera.
