Details:
Moon in Volcanic Sunset 4th May. Mutare continues to experience frequent brightly coloured volcanic sunsets due to stratospheric aerosols from the January 15th eruption of Hunga-Tonga volcano. Here is a selection of pictures of the four day old 12% illuminated waxing crescent Moon taken on Wednesday. See how much the illumination has increased and how much higher and further to the right the Moon is than on the previous day. Camera: Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in sunset and night scenery modes.
