SEE VIDEO https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWQdu66n7NY the night of 31 march to april 1st auroral activity was very weak for Iceland's night. I was under clear skies in the south near Kirkjubaejarklaustur , the sky was dark and moonless but aurora was almost inexistent... however a faint weak band to the NW seemed to show a bit of weird colour. Pink ? so I shot timelapse video and indeed it was pink, later turned to purple and green with blue, too. Pretty cool. Video also at FB https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=330152095773289 used Canon EOS R6, Samyang 12/2.8 , Viltrox speedbooster, got 8.5mm F2 , still needed ISO 12800, 6 sec. exposures . Started just after midnight.
