Details:
Hunting northern lights in Iceland for 2 weeks, again ( my 14th trip there ) , saw them very often as I relocated each day depending on last available weather forecast. Lots of clouds in Iceland but it is possible to see the lights almost any night , with the right strategy and weather knowledge. Saw some truely spectacular events. Video coming soon, teaser : copy-paste this URL : . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72D5Zg4R7BQ . And also saw a few fainter ones, as the Bz didn't go south/negative. Had 2 violins with me ( long story ... ) ... so we posed with them for some extra spice in that otherwise dull photoshoot. All images taken with EOS R6, Samyang 12/2.8, Viltrox Speedbooster, shot at ISO 10'000, F2.0 , 4 sec. , on April 2nd, 2022 around 00:40 AM local time in south-eastern Iceland east of Lómagnúpur mountain. Tip : when going on an aurorahunt, anywhere, bring your music instrument with you. Saxophone, violin, guitar, flute, any instrument.
