Details:
while cloudy skies blocked the really big show on April 1, clear skies at -30C made up for it last night. Big arcs, swirls, pockets of brilliant color for about an hour just after midnite MDST. These pix set up with Yellowknife's month-long Snowking Festival and the astonishing ice and snow castle down on Great Slave Lake. Canon 5DMkIV, ISO 2500, Sigma 14 MM ART lens, aperture 2.8 to 4, shutter 2.5 to 6 secs.
