Details:
Today, I was able to photograph the new sunspot AR2978 a little further away from the solar limb and this way I was able to get a little more detail. In addition to the main sunspot, a multitude of smaller sunspots can be seen. With sunspots AR2976 and AR2975 not yet reaching the center of the solar disk, we now have this new sunspot in sight. Undoubtedly this year 2022 premiered with a very interesting level of solar activity. To take this picture I used a Sky Watcher Maksutov 180 telescope with a Baader film filter, a 2X barlow and a ZWO 174 MM camera with a Baader Solar Continuum filter.
