Details:
The ice giant Uranus has become my latest obsession with it being placed so well in the ecliptic for Northern Hemisphere observers. In December, I imaged the 7th planet recording a 30 minute long video stacking the best 20,000 frames. I did capture the bright polar hood in addition to 4 of its brightest moons. I used a Celestron EDGE HD C9.25 SCT (f/10) and a ZWO ASI290mm camera. RGB and LRGB images are shown where the Luminance is a IR610nm filter.
