After the great expectation created by the active zone detected on the far side of the sun, now that they are in our view, sunspots AR2954 and AR2955 turned out to be quite normal. In any case, for all amateur astronomers, the sun gives us images like the one I photographed this morning, where you can see several very interesting prominences, but above all I want to highlight the one seen in the northwest limb, since that delicate thread of plasma reached a height of about 159,000km. To take this picture I used a Coronado Solarmax II Single Stack 90mm telescope and a ZWO 183MM camera.
