Details:
I was lucky to capture the ongoing giant SE solar prominence at around 12:52 PM (O4:52 UTC) today, Feb 8, 2022 at my place in Quezon City Philippines. This giant solar prominence had been present for several days and a break in the clouds allowed me to view and image it with my Lunt 100 mm hydrogen alpha solar telescope. I included an image of the Earth for size comparison, so one can have an idea how huge this prominence is.
