Details:
Drove 30 kilometers to a superb location with lots of birds, water and clear horizon, especially to catch Venus as it nears the horizon. The phase was easily detectable in my DSLR using a 200 mm lens. In the final shots, Venus actually looks a lot like the Moon using a wide lens. Canon 6D, Canon 200 2.8 lens, and A 2x teleconvertor for some of the shots. All on a tripod.
