Details:
When the Leonard comet was discovered in January last year, no one thought its tail length would break a record. Swipe and keep your fingers open. Between your thumb and little finger, it covers twenty degrees of the sky. Comet Leonard is the second largest tail record in decades, covering about sixty degrees above the sky. One of the problems for astronomers and photographers was that the size of the comet does not fit in the field of view of astronomical instruments. It is my tool !! The comet's behavior was very strange and remarkable, its core exploded at least three times and its tail changed strangely and took a beautiful shape when exposed to solar winds. On Monday, January 3, 2022, the comet Leonard will pass 0.61 astronomical units of the Sun and will return for the next seventy thousand years. There is a lot of talk about this comet and you will surely have many studies in this field, the image above shows the changes in the nucleus and the light intensity of this comet in the interval between 13 days, the first image on the left on December 10, 2021 in the morning sky And the image on the right was taken on December 23, 2021 in the evening sky. The observational instruments in this image were the 120-apochromatic Skywatch Telescope and the Canon 450D and 20-minute exposure.
