Wow, what a night! C/2021 A1 Leonard on 2021 December 28 at 11:25UT. using a C11 RASA f/2.2 + Canon 6D. 5 mins. FOV 3 deg. North up. near Swan Hill, Victoria. Dark skies really help with comet viewing. Naked eye visual estimate = 4.7. Through 15x70mm binoculars, the first 4 degrees of tail are bright, with a faint extension to about 9 degrees. Photographically, the tail appears at least 18 degrees long, stretching towards Fomalhaut. Second photo using Canon 60Da + Canon EF lens at 24mm f/4 for 5 minutes. Third photo of the tail further upstream.
