Details:
Temperatures have now dropped below freezing, so I went out to use the clear night to capture the predicted aurora with it's reflections before the lakes get frozen. Unfortunately I've forgotten the adapter plate for the camera, making the tripod useless, but I was able to fix the camera on a rock. The aurora was also weaker than predicted and the bright moon wasn't helping neither. Not adapted to the humid cold again I was close to finish the photo session when this impressive sporadic meteor came down just at the right position and in time!
