Details:
Season's Greetings! Auroras burst onto the scene above Anchorage, Alaska's upper hillside from the Flattop/Glen Alps Trailhead on November 28, 2021 around 2 am. The ambient city light coming from the left was good for one thing: to light up the beautiful snow on the trees & Chugach Mountains.... frosting on the cake. It was a relatively short-lived show, about a half-hour and the only display of the night, but they were really dancing. Whether it was related to the CME or just general purpose auroras, we'll take it!
