Details:
Just after 12 AM MST, Nov 20, a vast perfect lunar halo surrounded the moon. Through light overcast and a fine drizzle of snow at about -17C, a dim aurora waltzed into the circle. Late fall/early winter is arguably the best time of year to see the aurora here in Yellowknife - and other celestial wonders too. Canon 5D MkIV, 14mm Sigma Art, ISO 400, f1.8, 1.3 sec
