Sometimes when you are observing the sun you see things that just take your breath away. Such was the case with this Prominence on Nov. 9th. I watched if form, rain down onto the sun and dissipate away. Words are just not enough to convey what seeing something like that is like. You just sit back in awe and realize what an amazing gift it is to be able to witness such raw power and beauty. Details: 127mm refractor, Daystar H-alpha filter, QHY CCD camera
