Details:
29P/Schwassmann-Wachmann is now fading with its coma becoming fainter every day. This Centaur/Comet had the brightest outburst in 40 years at the end of September and another smaller outburst at the end of October. Now it is fading until the next outburst. Orbiting between Jupiter and Saturn this is one of the most active bodies in the Solar System. This is a fascinating body to observe because of its rapid changes. All images captured with iTelescope T19, a 17 inch Planewave telescope.
