This Place is located in Duisburg, Germany and called "Tiger & Turtle - Magic Mountain“. I wanted to capture the full magic of this mountain with a rising full moon.
It took me 2 years for this picture to be finally realized. A few conditions had to be met: The full moon must rise very far in the southeast, which happens 2-3 times a year. In addition, there are only a few gaps between the cranes of the container port, buildings and trees for the "Tiger & Turtle - Magic Mountain" to be visible. The last hurdle that always failed until now were the bad weather conditions during the evening hours.
The photo was taken from a distance of 1.4 km and the moon is about 2.2 ° above the horizon. It's my Wife holding her Tripod with a camera in the middle of the Frame.
This photo was taken with the Sony A7 III and the 100-400mm F/4.5-55 @ 400mm, F/5.6, 1/6sec, ISO 1600
