Details:
In morning twilight on Aug 1-2, 2021, a classical example of a mesospheric front was recorded by a few airport cameras in Alaska. Most notable was the McKinley South camera image shown here. Note how on the right side of the image the NLC are brilliant, whereas on the left side they are nonexistent. The front could be seen over an hour-long period at this site, plus a few others in Alaska. In total, over 60 airport cameras in Alaska showed NLC, truly a prolific night of NLC!.
