Details:
Last night we had a fine NLC display over Hungary. As the Sun dropped deeper below the horizon, the edge of the brightest parts became red. This effect was so vivid I could see it with naked eyes despite the light of the surrounding street lamps. Fortunately, digital cameras are much more sensitive in low light conditions than the eye, so the picture shows it in its full beauty.
