Details:
From my location with hills to the west and a 5 degree ridge to the east. I could just make out with the eye blue bands at about 12 degrees high due north at 2:25am, maybe 10 minutes before the bright clouds appeared low on the horizon in the northeast gradually rising to about 15 degrees. By 4am the clouds were visible to the eye from a little west of north to due east at about 25 degrees. By then it was too light to get the contrast well in the camera. Basically an hour event, wider a little higher and more intense than the 16th. From Keller, Wa June 17 Nikon D5600, 24mm, f/4, ISO 200 @2 seconds. Four frames stitched in ice for both pans.
