Details:
I photographed the eclipse at its maximum through my Lunt Ha solar telescope. There was a magnificent protuberance and it was still there the next day so I took 40 sequences during 2 hours and made them into an animation. To get a higher magnification I used eyepiece projection with the zoom set at 10 mm. The video is sped up 2400 times and shows the dynamics of the plasma rotating and levitating in the strong magnetic field. Telescope: Lunt LS60THA / B1200FTPT with a 50 mm double stack module. Camera: DMK-41AF02 mono camera from The Imaging Source.
