Details:
Imaging it from my friend Rick's lake house in NE PA with a solar pillar prior to sunrise, the low altitude resulting in the 'moon illusion' making the Sun's disk appear gigantic as it silhouetted the trees on the horizon, the high thin cirrus clouds causing it to take on a look that reminded us of a gas giant planet, and the bald eagles flying over the lake; it was an event I will never forget !
