Details:
Skies were forecast to be cloud covered here in Southeastern Pennsylvania on the morning of the 2021, June 10, Partial Solar Eclipse. However, the morning sky was surprisingly cloudless with the exception of the nasty little cumulus cloud that hid most of the sun several minutes after it began ascending from the horizon. The eclipse was much deeper than what I thought it would be with 70% of the sun blocked by Luna as it rose. A very impressive event to observe in any capacity using a solar filter. Instead of a telescope, my images were captured using a Modified Canon XS DSLR ISO200 and a 18-55mm zoom lens, f/36. I held an 80mm glass solar filter in front of the camera lens to collect images. I recorded one image every 4 minutes then layered each onto the initial foreground with the help of PS5 for the composite. I also included a single capture of the eclipsed sun shortly after it cleared the nuisance cloud.
