Details:
Tonight Mars (on the image's left side) is forming an almost perfect line with Gemini's brightest stars: Pollux (middle) and Castor (right). In the cool and still air the smells of nearby flowering plants are more intense than during the day, adding a nice bonus to early summer twilights. One of these plants is the alternate-leaved butterfly-bush (Buddleja alternifolia) which I chose as a foreground for the celestial show, shining my head lamp on its branches full of small pink flowers.
