On Thursday evening the 2-day old Waxing Crescent Moon, Venus and Mercury could all be seen at the same time around the southern flank of transmitter Hill for five minutes three quarters of an hour after sunset before Venus disappeared at the foot of the slope. Mercury, which was close to the Moon set near the top of the hillslope a few minutes later. Camera: Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS40 in sunset mode.
