>>> Back to Stars <<< After what seems like forever due to bad weather , I finally had the telescope setup and running last night, I would say running smoothly but that wasn't the case as I ran into a few setup issues mainly caused by ME ( Rushing ). I wanted to capture the recently discovered Nova ( new Star ) in the sky that was only discovered back on the 18th of March by Japanese photographer Yuji Nakamura. The Nova has brighten since his discovery and is easy to spot in binoculars. An added bonus is the location of the Nova next to M52 and Bubble Nebula. The Nova has been named V1405 Cas and is the bright star in the red circle of this image. Big congrats to Yuji Nakamura on his discovery. Captured > 3rd April 2021 Location > Ballintra, Co Donegal.
