Details:
On Jan 4, 2021, the state of Utah marked the 125th anniversary of its admittance to the United States. Kicking off this year's events was the inauguration of a new governor (earlier in the day) and fireworks displays in every county in Utah. Jupiter and Saturn, 1.5° apart, overlook the festivities.

The photo compresses time and space. The planets were recorded at mid-twilight but the fireworks show started well after dark, where my wife and I observed it from a hilltop several miles away using binoculars. The final image combines 3 subs taken at the same spot in the same direction but at different times using different focal lengths.
