Details:
What a crazy night in Utsjoki! I can barely find my words! The previous night, we had a strong Aurora even G1 forecast, which didn't deliver. Tonight, the solar wind speed was back to almost normal values, but with a Bz consistently in minus values, we had very long lasting bright auroras (although not very mobile), followed by several super bright and fast explosions full of pink! A night to remember in the far north of Finnish Lapland! At some point, everything was so bright, I would say brighter than the full moon on a clear night. It was that crazy and those photos are all edited to be as close as possible to reality! And the best of all this: I streamed it live over the internet, allowing hundreds of people to witness this most beautiful show of nature. I am overwhelmed by all this beauty and positive reactions that we received!
