Details:
On Saturday, Jupiter and Saturn getting closer, appeared in a clear portion of partially cloudy evening sky half-an-hour after sunset. As twilight approached and the pair became brighter, it was possible to take a close-up view of them in which three of Jupiter’s moons are visible. The lead picture, a beautiful 30-second time exposure taken with bright foreground illumination from street and security lights, shows low raincloud approaching the five day old haloed Moon high above the conjunction. Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS40 in starry sky, sunset, and night scenery modes with optical zoom magnification.
