Here in Santiago we had a cloud-free eclipse, unlike my southern fellows whose hopes of totality were mostly drowned by the rain. There was a noticeable drop of landscape brightness 30 min previous to maximum eclipse and temperature descended 2°c. Certainly quite a fantastic experience and the last we will have here for a long while. 4,5" telescope + solar filter 1/640 exposure at ISO 100. north up,east left
