Details:
December 08, 2020 A perfectly clear evening to view the two giant planets, Jupiter and Saturn, in the southwestern sky. Approaching their Great Conjunction on December 21st, this evening they are less than 2 degrees apart. What made my eyes pop, because it is so clear, using my telephoto zoomed to 300mm I was able to capture the four moons of Jupiter (Europa, Io, Ganymede, and Callisto), and the largest moon of Saturn Titan. I took these pictures between 5:24pm-5:34pm EST. The first two pictures: Tripod, 18mm, f/3.5, 1/5 seconds, ISO 1600 Next two pictures: Tripod, 300mm, f/5.6, 1.6 seconds, ISO 1600, Using Nikon Capture NXD software zoomed 3x.
