Details:
This is how our view of the Red Planet has changed in only one month: the size of the planet has decreased with about 6 arc seconds, the South Polar Cap has also decreased, and now there is a dust storm that has expanded on much of the planet resulting in a lower contrast or even totally obscured views of some features. Both images are at the same scale. Solis Lacus has a lower contrast in the November 22 image due to dust, and a slightly different shape. Also some dust is seen in Valles Marineris. The three Tharsis volcanoes are also seen.
